Program Reports

Scuba (Mike Haslup) -  winding down for the semester.  Students are still coming in on Tuesdays, but their time is little limited that night.

Girls Basketball (Linda Heaps) - Five teams are set up and they are just waiting to finish high school tryouts to complete their registration.

Swim Team (Vince DiFatta) - Program is doing great.  Currently looking for alternatives to keep the program running during the summer if the Middle School pool closes during that time for repairs.  Option may be to purchase an above ground 5-lane pool.  Rob suggested to put a proposal together with all the details including costs, maintenance, etc…

Family Swim (Carla Naumann) - had registrations last Sunday.  Have secured one Pool Operator/Lifeguard.  They will open this Sunday from 2-5pm, but can only have less than 20 at a time until another lifeguard is secured.  The certification class that was scheduled had to be cancelled.

Girl‘s Lax (Kay Lambert) - the second and last registration will be held this Saturday.  The application for MYLA has made it through stage one and will have a meeting on continuing the process on Dec. 12th.

Soccer (Bob Asterista) - Rec. soccer is winding down.  A few tournaments were rescheduled due to the rain.  Looking for another small field for next year.  The U8 & U9 girls both won the Fallston cup and the U8 girls, U13 girls and U11 boys all won their CMSA divisions.

Karate (Don Hoopes) - currently have approx. 20 students of which 9 or 10 are beginners.  Working on getting 3 green belts ready to turn brown.
